‘Mission Impossible 6’ Enters Hiatus Due to Tom Cruise Injury

Last week, we learned that Tom Cruise was injured on the set of ‘Mission Impossible 6’. The accident happened while performing his own stunt (as he is well known to do), jumping form building to building. Although no official word was given at the time of the incident, Cruise reportedly sustained a great deal of damage to his foot.

Now that the show has been released, it’s safe to say that all of the build up was well worth it. In many ways, ‘The Defenders’ feels perfect for what it’s trying to accomplish. The story of the show is fairly straightforward. Our four Heroes – Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist – are all unwillingly forced to work together to defeat a nefarious plan by the shadowy organization “The Hand” to destroy New York City.
