We can only hope that he will survive this one, as we have learned that actor Sean Bean will be joining the cast of the upcoming post-apocalyptic universe in “Snowpiercer”. We all know that Bean has been the butt of many, many internet memes poking fun at his early demise in series such as “Game Of Thrones” and the “Lord Of The Rings” film.
Bean will be joining the “Snowpiercer” cast for season two, rather than season one, which has already been greenlit by TBS. The series is an adaptation of the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige by Jacques Lob (story) and Jean-Marc Rochette (illustration). No further details on Sean Bean’s character have been revealed for now.
He’ll be joining Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs, who are starring in the series. Following the 1984 comic and Bong Joon-ho’s 2013 film (Parasite), the series will explore the class struggle taking place under an authoritarian regime set up after the planet froze. Humans, most of whom are oppressed, live in a giant train ruled with an iron fist. After being postponed several times due to changes to the showrunners and broadcasters, Snowpiercer, overseen by Bong Joon-ho and Scott Derrickson (Doctor Strange), will be released in spring 2020.
