‘Rick and Morty’ Will Return with An Epic 70 Episode Run

Fans of the Adult Swim show Rick and Morty are probably jumping up and down with the news that there will be a season 4 after all. The hit show has been known to take breaks in-between seasons, and there have been rumors circulating that the reason for the long break after season 3 was because of contract disputes. But alas all is good in the land of Rick and Morty and season 4 is moving forward.

Rick and Morty premiered in December of 2013 on the Cartoon Network’s late night block of programming called Adult Swim. The show is about a mad scientist named Rick Sanchez and his easily influenced grandson Morty Smith, who split their time between normal home life and interdimensional adventures. The series was created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon.

Rick and Morty is a universal hit and have brought huge ratings for Cartoon Network, and their merchandise sells out all over the place including Hot Topic. The show was based on an animated short parody film of Back to the Future called The Real Animated Adventures of Doc and Mharti.

The series has a kind of cult following and has received critical acclaim for its originality and humor.  Season 3 ended on Oct 1, 2017. There has been no official release date for when season 4 will begin airing but stayed tuned right here for that announcement.

The series features voices from Justin Rolland, Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer and Sarah Chalke.
