Netflix Reveals ‘Glow’ Season 2 Premiere Date with 80’s Video

Glow was greenlit for a second season in the summer of 2017. Since then, not much has been said of the grudge match season. That’s until now. Netflix has released a very cool video of the “Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling” living it up in the 80’s which announces the season two premiere date with their best “Flashdance” impressions. Watch the announcement video below.

Glow follows the real-life women’s wrestling company of the same name that was started in the mid 80s. The original series aired for four seasons. The Netflix series was created by the same team that brought you another Netflix hit, Orange is the New Black.

The new season will consist of ten episodes and will stream June 29. The series stars Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, Marc Maron, Sydelle Noel, Britney Young, Britt Baron, Kimmy Gatewood, Kate Nash, Rebekka Johnson, Sunita Mani, Marianna Palka, Gayle Rankin, Kia Stevens, Ellen Wong and Jackie Tohn with former WWE wrestlers popping in here and there.

Season one is currently available to stream on Netflix. I highly suggest you watch it if you haven’t already. And if you have, watch it again. It was just that great of a series!
