‘Super Troopers 2’ TV Spots & Poster Bring The Shenanigans

Fox Searchlight has released a pair of television spots for the upcoming comedy, Super Troopers 2. The shenanigan-filled marketing materials, which include two TV spots and a spiffy new one-sheet poster, feature almost entirely new footage in our first good look a the film since the most recent trailer for the film dropped back in January.

The trailer gives us our first full look at the plot of the film, which features Thorny (Jay Chandrasekhar), Foster (Paul Soter), Mac (Steve Lemme), Rabbit (Erik Stolhanske), and Farva (Kevin Heffernan) all returning to settle a border dispute that arises between our heroes and some nearby canadian mounties. The film crowdfunded it’s production budget, but the question of success , since the film was funded by the fans of the original Super Troopers themselves.

Super Troopers 2 was directed by Chandrasekhar, from a script written by the Broken lizard team (Chandrasekhar, Soter, Lemme, Stolhanske & Heffernan.) The film also stars Brian CoxMarisa Coughlan, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Tyler Labine, Lynda Carter, Rob Lowe, Will Sasso, Fred Savage and Hayes MacArthur. Super Troopers 2 hits theaters on April 20, 2018. Here are the new TV spots, along with the official synopsis and poster below.
