As we anxiously gear up for what will be in store for us with the upcoming eighth installment of Ryan Murphy‘s FX drama series ‘American Horror Story,‘ we can’t help but to seek out the latest news and information, especially as Murphy loves to drop some juicy tidbits once and awhile. What we know so far, and that has been confirmed by Murphy is that series regulars Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates and Evan Peters have all signed on to star in the upcoming installment.
Well, that is definitely a big sigh of relief, but can we please get some Jessica Lange back in action! We have heard the rumblings that Lange will be back for the ninth installment of the ‘American Horror Story‘ franchise, as it is rumored to be a cross-over combination of both the “Murder House” and “Coven” installments. Could this mean we may see Connie Britton making a return as well? After all, she is currently starring in another of Murphy’s shows with her role in the FOX network drama ‘9-1-1‘.
Upon some further digging we have also unearthed the news that the upcoming installment of ‘American Horror Story‘ may be titled ‘American Horror Story: Radioactive‘, as it was revealed that 20th Century Fox recently filed for a trademark of that name. It would make perfect sense as well, since Murphy did hint that this installment of “American Horror Story” was be set in the future. All of the other installments have either taken place in the past or in the present. Perhaps “Radioactive” could mean a post-apocalyptic setting? Let’s just hope they don’t decide to go the zombie route! For now, we will just have to wait and see and hope that Murphy continues to entice fans with some additional details in the near future.
