Stephen King‘s horror series Children of the Corn is back. The series which was based on a King short story which was first published in 1977 in a March issue of Penthouse has spawned a franchise and its own cult of fans over the years. The franchise has had several films with the most recent being a TV film and now an all-new installment, Children of the Corn: Runaway. OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS
Children of the Corn: Runaway tells the story of young, pregnant Ruth, who escapes a murderous child cult in a small Midwestern town. She spends the next decade living anonymously in an attempt to spare her son the horrors that she experienced as a child. Ruth and her son end up in a small Oklahoma town, but something is following her. Now, she must confront this evil or lose her child.
