‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ Image Suits up it’s Heroes

Marvel has released a new image from ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp‘, and it’s the first time that we’re seeing our titular heroes in their full getup. Although ‘Black Panther‘ and ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘ are set to be released before ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp‘, we’ve been slowly seeing more and more from the film. We’ve already seen an image of Evangeline Lilly‘s wasp (without the helmet), as well getting our first behind the scenes “look” during the start of production. We’ve seen some unofficial set images of the film’s villain, Ghost, but we haven’t really seen too much from our heroes in action–until now.

This image in particular is nothing revelatory, but what’s exciting here is to see our titular heroes in what is sure to be one of the action set pieces in the film. I’m really digging the updated look of Lilly’s Wasp, when compared to the few glimpses of the the original suit we go in the first film. The suit for Paul Rudd‘s Ant-Man looks pretty much the same one that we saw in ‘Captain America: Civil War‘, but I’m sure that there are some new upgrades in this version that will pop up throughout the film, just as they did in ‘Civil War‘.

But beyond showcasing the new suits in the film, there’s not really much going on here. Check out the image below.

Here’s the official synopsis:

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes “Ant Man and the Wasp,” a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink. In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside the Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.
