42 New ‘Justice League’ Images Give us our Best Look Yet

Now that ‘Justice League‘ is in it’s final marketing push, Warner Bros. has released a whole batch of high-res images for us to ogle over. Although the film has had a difficult path to this point, a series of questions still remain unanswered. Not to mention the fact that we’re still not sure how much Joss Whedon will influence the film. Despite the mixed press for the film in post production, ‘Justice League‘ still seems like a fun time at the theater. Based on the trailers for the the superhero team-up, it seems that the movie doesn’t take itself as seriously as it’s predecessor, and that’s probably a good thing.

Justice League‘ follows Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) as they look to assemble a team of metahumans that includes The Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Mamoa) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) to fight a cosmic threat. WB has been playing fairly coy with the idea of hiding Superman (Henry Cavill) from the majority of the marketing thus far, even though it’s pretty obvious that he’ll have some sort of presence in ‘Justice League‘. If you were hoping to catch a glimpse of the Man of Steel in these images, you’ll have to just wait longer, as Superman is nowhere to be found in these images.

There are, however, a few good looks some the supporting cast that mostly includes Miller’s Flash, along with Mera (Amber Heard), Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen), Martha Kent (Diane Lane), Comissioner Gordon (J.K. Simmons), Dr. Silas Stone (Joe Morton) and Lois Lane (Amy Adams). Interestingly, the film’s villain, Steppenwolf (Ciarian Hinds), is nowhere to be found in any of these images. The fate of ‘Justice League‘ will ultimately be discovered when the film in released in less than 2 weeks on November 17, 2017.

In the meantime, you can check out the 42 high-res ‘Justice League‘ images below, as well as the official synopsis for the film:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
