Final ‘Justice League’ Trailer is Here!

Well NYCC has come to a close and theres a lot to report on but the debut of the final ‘Justice League’ trailer is definitely one of the major take aways. The last trailer was released back in July at San Diego Comic Con and with the film coming out in just over a month we knew to expect one final trailer. Fortunately Warner Bros. has decided to follow the same marketing model from SDCC making the trailer available online moments after the NYCC debut. Check it out right here!

Obviously the first notable moment of the trailer happens within the first 5 seconds when we finally get a visual conformation of Superman (Henry Cavill), but in a very roundabout way. The trailer opens on Superman only to immediately show its a dream sequence. It kind of feels like this is only in here to prove to fans that we will see Superman in this film. For some reason there are still those stubborn enough to keep arguing otherwise. For those of you out there fanning that flame I am sorry to say but you have to know there is no way they are making a ‘Justice League’ film without Superman. You can still hold out hope for a lantern to show up but thats its own separate discussion.

Besides the quick glance at Superman, this trailer doesn’t really offer anything new, at least as far as the story goes. There is a cool bit where see Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) fighting SteppenWolf one on one, I’m guessing when he’s attacking Themyscira. We also get a better look at some really cool action sequences, although they all seem to be from the same few battles we have seen in the previous trailers. Honestly thats okay with me as I’d rather them hold back as much as possible, especially after showing way too much in the BvS marketing. But I am already buying a ticket, so this trailer isn’t really aimed at me. This is to get the average movie goer excited about what should be an awesome team-up.

Besides a few choice moments of action, and some hints at potential plot points, it’s the little bits of dialogue that stole the show in the final trailer for ‘Justice League’. We get some funny banter between Aquamman (Jason Momoa) and Batman (Ben Affleck), and an absolute scene stealing line from Ezra Miller’s The Flash. This trailer really focuses on the fun that this movie should be, while trying to retain the serious tone set by its predecessors. Overall the final trailer showcases a brighter movie than what we have come to expect, and not just in tone. We actually see quite a bit of color added to the “drab” and desaturated visuals we have previously seen. This is on full display when you see Aquamman in the ocean, quickly followed by a shot of Wonder Woman in the sky. These are bright and colorful environments.

‘Justice League’ hit theaters November 17th, 2017. Let us know what you thought of the trailer in the comments below!
