Black Suit Superman

‘Justice League’: Will Superman Have a Black Suit?

Justice League‘ is a little over 2 months away from release, and yet we are still learning about the film. We have seen a number of trailers for the film, but then in a shocking piece of news, it was announced that Joss Whedon would be taking over for Zack Snyder to complete the film. This created a great amount of controversy, although the film had been undergoing reshoots at the time of the shuffle.

We recently heard a rumor that Jessie Eisenberg‘s Lex Luthor had been cut as a result of the changes to the film. We also know that Ben Affleck‘s portrayal of Batman in ‘Justice League‘ would change dramatically from ‘Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice‘. A character that we haven’t heard much about is Henry Cavill‘s Superman. Well now, a recent post by Movieweb (via Reddit), shows a recent toy release for ‘Justice League‘  that might have revealed the black suited Superman made most famous from ‘The Death of Superman‘ storyline that was initiated in ‘BvS‘.

Here’s the image that was shared:

Although it’s never good practice to assume that a toy will appear in the final film, this image seems to suggest that Superman will sport the black suit at some point during the film. Considering that Cavill himself teased this over a year ago on Instagram, it seems fair to assume that a black suited Superman will appear at some point in the film.

In addition ot Affleck, Cavill, and Eisenberg (maybe?), the film stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince, Jason Momoa as Aquaman/Arthur Curry, Ray Fisher as Cyborg/Victor Stone, Ezra Miller as Flash/Barry Allen, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, J.K. Simmons as Comissioner Gordon,  Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, and Ciaran Hinds as Steppenwolf.

Justice League‘ Opens on November 17, 2017.
