John Wick will indeed be back and it will be the final film of the franchise. That’s until someone decides to give it an unnecessary reboot 5 years from now but until then we will get to see Keanu Reeves in the suit one more time! Lionsgate have announced that John Wick: Chapter 3 will arrive on May 17, 2019.
Having the release date of May means that it will be a summer blockbuster this time around. The first two films in the franchise were released during Fall (2014) and Winter (2017). This also means that Lionsgate may pull out all the stops for this final film to close out the much loved franchise.
There are no details about the story for John Wick: Chapter 3 but what we do know thus far is that Chad Stahelski will direct the film off of a script written by Derek Kolstad and actors Keanu Reeves and Ian McShane will reprise their respective roles.
