Suburbicon is a peaceful, idyllic suburban community with affordable homes and manicured lawns…the perfect place to raise a family, and in the summer of 1959, the Lodge family is doing just that. Suburbicon is set to premiere at this year’s Toronto International film festival, and would mark
Clooney’s sixth directorial effort to date. While The Monuments Men proved to be less than the critical darling, Suburbicon seems like a shift back in the right direction for the director.
