New ‘IT’ Clips Showcase Even More Terror And Suspense!

(AOTN) We couldn’t be any more hyped about the upcoming film adaptation of Stephen King’s iconic novel “IT“. It is sure to be hands down one of the scariest films of the summer!

It is shaping up to be quite the year for Stephen King with the recent adaptation of “The Dark Tower” (which did not go over too well with fans; you can read our review here), “Mr. Mercedes” on the AT&T Network and “Castle Rock” set to debut on Hulu.

We have a good feeling that fans will be pleased with director Andy Muschietti’s vision for “IT” and if the clips found below are any indication of what we are in store for, good luck ever getting to sleep again! This is the stuff nightmares are made of, but would you expect anything less from a horror mastermind like Stephen King!

The first clip features the film’s iconic opening sequence, you know, the one that made us terrified of storms drains ever since witnessing the 1990 TV adaptation of “IT” starring Tim Curry as Pennywise, the clown. As much as Curry’s Pennywise scared us, we definitely think that the new Pennywise played by Bill Skarsgard will take the character to a new level of horror.

The other two clips feature the children that a haunted by Pennywise who are referred to as “The Loser’s Club”. The children showcase an amazing chemistry and we look forward to seeing how they do throughout the rest of the film.

“IT” will hit theaters on September 8, 2017!
