‘GLOW’ Gets a Grudge Match With Netflix, Greenlit for Season Two!

(AOTN) Netflix’s standout 80’s women’s wrestling comedy, GLOW, has been renewed for season two. The second season of the newly popular series starring Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin and Marc Maron will be 10-episodes just like its first season.

GLOW aka the “Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling” is a show loosely based on the 1980’s series of the same name and is produced by Orange is the New Black creator, Jenji Kohan. This time around a group of women struggle to make it big which leads the group of ladies to ban together to produce a wrestling series.

The series will join Santa Clarita Diet, Dear White People and One Day at a Time as 2017 Netflix comedies to get renewed.

The first season of GLOW premiered back in June on Netflix and is currently available for streaming.
