‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Cast Doesn’t Know How The Movie Will End

Avengers: Infinity War‘ is on the horizon, and production on yet-to-be retitled ‘Avengers 4‘ is currently underway. Naturally, details of the production are bound to be revealed at some point or another. Recently, Disney screened a sizzle reel ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘ at both D23 and Comic-Con to much excitement.

While details of the film are sparse, we won’t be able to rely on the cast slipping any details about the plot. The Reason? Apparently, Joe and Anthony Russo only provided cast members with pages relevant to their characters instead of the entire script. The directing duo simply provided the additional details of the story for each of the characters only when they were on set.

Recently, Elizabeth Olsen made an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Without hesitation, Colbert immediately asked if there was anything she could reveal about the project.

Here’s what she had to say in response:

“This time, they actually decided to not give us scripts. They gave me my pages and then they explained other things that are happening… I’ll be so shocked and surprised. I’ll be like ‘Oh I see, that’s what was happening to the world at that time.’”

Tom Holland also spoke with BBC about shooting a certain scene in the film. Having limited information on even the person that he was fighting remain undisclosed to the actor. Here’s Holland’s take on the events:

“Yeah, there is one moment in Avengers where I don’t know who that person is. And I’m fighting him, and there’s nothing more embarrassing than pretending to fight a ‘monster’ in front of 200 people, in Spandex. You know, literally like dodging stuff and trying to web him. They’re all like, ‘That’s Great Tom, more energy. More Energy. Jump. Jump.”

In addition, Dave Bautista recently revealed that he hasn’t read the script for the entire film. When asked by a fan on Twitter about his reaction to the ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘ script, Dave Bautista responded:

With a cast that includes Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman,  Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, and Anthony Mackie, you can immagine why the Russo Brothers and co. are keeping things so close to the chest.

Avengers: Infinity War‘ explodes into theaters next summer on May 4, 2018.
