(AOTN) The #IMDboat Party at San Diego Comic-Con 2017, Presented By XFINITY and Hosted by Kevin Smith.

Celebrating, it’s second year, the IMDBoat sailed into San Diego Comic Con! The #1 movie website in the world, IMDb, held the #IMDboat party at San Diego Comic-Con 2017, presented by XFINITY and hosted by Kevin Smith. (Day 1) : Nolan Gould, Miles Brown, Katherine McNamara, Harry Shum Jr., Eric Roberts, Natasha Henstridge, Liam Cunningham, and more attended the dockside soiree. Gould and Brown spent the night dancing to their favorite hits and posing for hilarious pictures. The Modern Family star arrived with a pal while Brown was accompanied by his adorable father. Costars Eric Roberts and Natasha Henstridge were in great spirits, posing for photos with fans, and accessorizing with IMDb sailor hats. Guests dined on sushi, a bevy of custom-made desserts including made-to-order donuts, personalized sundaes, and signature cocktails.

Day 2 of the #1 movie website in the world, IMDb, held their second annual #IMDboat at San Diego Comic-Con. Seth Rogen, Stan Lee, Finn Wolfhard, Ruth Negga, Katheryn Winnick, Gustaf Skarsgard, Todd McFarlane, Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, Fabio Lanzoni, Kim Dickens, Director Denis Villeneuve, the cast of Fear The Walking Dead, and more sat down for interviews with host Kevin Smith aboard the #IMDboat. Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard shared his adorable first kiss story with costar Millie Bobbie Brown. While funny man Seth Rogen reminisced on his past ten years coming to Comic Con, his first visit being 10 years ago for Superbad, and gushed about working with Judd Apatow. Stan Lee received his first-ever IMDb STARmeter Award for Lifetime Achievement – Lee joked that he’s so clumsy he’ll need someone to carry his beautiful award and thanked IMDb, his fans and Kevin Smith. Kevin Smith then added that Lee had been cast in the next Jay & Silent Bob movie.

We were incredibly honored to be invited to stop by the IMDB boat as it was docked outside for SDCC and party it up on this amazing vessel.  The layout of the boat was phenomenal and incredibly inviting.  During our visit, we were served cocktails and popcorn that had been chilled with liquid nitrogen. Which if you have never tried it before, is definitely something worth checking out at least once. Definitely brings a quite literal definition to this party was smokin’ and it certainly was in more ways than one!  There were many celebrity sightings that kept our heads turning all night and it was great to relax and unwind aboard the #IMDBoat after a long day of running around the convention halls.

The view and the experience we had on the #IMDboat was absolutely spectacular and will be something we will remember for a longtime to come. Thank You #IMDboat until you set sail again next year! Check out some pictures from the IMDBoat below:

Was ‘The Gifted’ SDCC Marketing a Bit Too Much?

What soured me on 'The Gifted' was the distasteful marketing presented at San Diego Comic Con. Simply put, Fox created a marketing campaign mimicking propaganda and potentially taking things a bit to far.
