Three Main Characters May Be Temporarily Missing From Walking Dead Season 8

(AOTN) Various actors from the AMC hit series “The Walking Dead” have been taking on other projects, so it is possible that we may see at least three of the series main characters temporarily missing from the start of season eight.

While the series was almost hit with another writer’s strike, filming is now underway on the new season, however eagle-eyed fans have noticed that actor Jeffery Dean Morgan, who plays super villain Negan has yet to be spotted on set. This may be due to the fact that he is currently filming the upcoming movie “Rampage” with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Also, notably missing from the set is actress Danai Gurira who plays Michonne. Gurira recently made her film debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the upcoming film “Black Panther” taking on the role of Okoye. Despite the fact that the filming for “Black Panther” has been completed for quite some time, she will be making a return as the same character in “Avengers: Infinity War” which is currently in production.

Fans can recall that in the season seven finale, Michonne was in a pretty perilous situation where she was left appearing to be gravely injured. This could possibly buy the producers some time while she is off-set, as fans are left on the edge of their seats waiting to learn her fate.

Actress Christian Serratos, who plays Rosita, was pregnant during the filming of season seven and gave birth back in May during the show’s off time. It is unclear whether or not she has yet to make it back to the set, as the series is currently filming it’s fifth episode of season eight as of press time.

We wouldn’t worry too much, as we are nearly positive that all of these character will be making an appearance sometime within season eight, and you know there there is no way they are going to start the epic battle against Negan anytime within the first few episodes of the new season, in fact, we could even see that particular battle stretching out well into a season nine, as Negan will surely not go down that easily.

Hopefully some news will drop at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, but for now we are just going to have to wait and see!
