The trailer is chock full of delightful 80’s references including a retro Eggo Waffles commercial and Dustin, Mike, and Lucas dressed up in full Ghostbuster’s attire. We can’t wait!

The series creators recently spoke with ET and said they could not be more delighted to have both Paul Reiser and Sean Astin joining the cast for the new season as well! Astin will play a Radio Shack employee named Bob Newby who dates Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder). “Sean Astin is a force. He’s gonna surprise,” said creator Ross Duffer. “He’s just an incredible actor and he blows us away every day on set.” The creators went on to say that getting Paul Reiser was a dream come true as that was the person they had in mind for the role (which has not yet been revealed) from the very beginning.

Through various tweets from the cast and crew was have learned that Eleven will definitely be back for season two, although to what capacity is still yet to be determined, as we still don’t quite know her whereabouts at the end of season one. Will Byers survived his stay within the Upside Down and will certainly be back together with his family and friends and there could be a very strong possibility of a budding romance between Nancy and Jonathan despite the way things appeared for them at the end of season one. And don’t worry!  Steve’s hair is still perfection and there is said to be some justice for Barb, but she is unfortunately still dead … bummer!
