(AOTN) – The CW Seed is a digital way to catch some of your favorite CW shows, it also has some exclusives that you can only watch on the site. One of the CW Seed’s animated series Vixen, which follows DC’s hero of the same name, is headed from its digital platform to in-home release. DC and CW are combining the first two seasons of the series and releasing it as a feature film Vixen: The Movie.

Vixen: The Movie will be released on Digital HD May 8 and on Blu-ray and DVD May 23. The release will include 15 minutes of all-new, never-before seen content. The special features will include a brand new featurette and two episodes of Justice League Unlimited handpicked by super hero animation icon Bruce Timm.

Now if you are not too familiar with the character, Mari McCabe inherited her family’s Tantu Totem which allows her to access powers of animals. Actress Megalyn Echikunwoke who voices her in the CW Seed series also played the character on CW’s Arrow. Vixen is now a regular on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow played by Maisie Richardson-Sellers, which is a different version of the character but still has the same abilities.

Vixen: The Movie is priced to own at $19.98 SRP for the Blu-ray and $18.94 SRP for the DVD.
