The first Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 teaser trailer has hit the interwebs, and while it may be short, it is enough to get you excited to jump back into the Guardians Universe. It’s nice to see the gang back together and the chemistry seems to have remained intact. Marvel has Dr. Strange hitting theaters next month, with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 on deck with a May 5, 2017 release date.
Plot details remain scarce but the teaser highlights the beautiful visuals and funny dialogue the made James Gunn‘s first Guardians of the Galaxy so special. I expect a full-trailer near or around the release of Dr. Strange, as Marvel needs to keep their marketing focused on that film before moving on to the next Guardians. With seven moths to go, May couldn’t be here soon enough.

The film stars Chris Pratt, Kurt Russell, Karen Gillian, Elizabeth Debicki, Michael Rooker, Pom Klementieff, and Glenn Close. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 opens in theaters on May 5, 2017.
