‘Batman: The Killing Joke’ Gets One-Night Theatrical Release!

Mark your calendars! Arguably the most controversial Batman story is headed towards the big screen!

Just before Batman: The Killing Joke hits in-home release, it will have a one-night theatrical release. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment have partnered up with Fathom Events to help this highly anticipated DC animated film get a theatrical release date. The one-night only event will happen Monday, July 25, 2016 (3 days after the World Premiere at San Diego Comic-con) in select cinemas across the country. The R-rated animated film will screen at 7:30pm and 10:00 pm (local time) that night and will include exclusive-to-the-evening presentations before and after the film rolls.

Tickets for Batman: The Killing Joke can be purchased online beginning Friday, June 17 by visiting www.FathomEvents.com or at participating theater box offices.

Batman: The Killing Joke is based off of Alan Moore’s controversial and popular graphic novel of the same title. The animated film will feature voices from Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill, Tara Strong and Ray Wise.
