‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ Trailer

“We live in amazing times”

This Kevin Smith quote truly sums up how awesome it is to live in todays nerd movie world.  We will be gifted a new Star Wars film every year for the foreseeable future, and by the looks of the trailer, the films look to be high quality.

The follow up to last years Star Wars: The Force AwakensRogue One: A Star Wars Story looks to expand the universe past the Skywalker family and provide a different perspective on the galaxy far, far away.  The film is directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) and written by Gary Whitta and Chris Weitz.

The story:

Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire’s ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet.
