Prepare Yourselves For The Highly Anticipated Return Of AMC’s ‘Fear The Walking Dead’

AMC’s fan favorite original series “Fear the Walking Dead,” which delivered the highest-rated first season of any series in cable history among total viewers and all key demos in live+3 ratings, debuts its second season on Sunday, April 10th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. During the hour, viewers will also be able to check out a sneak peek of AMC’s upcoming highly anticipated original series, “Preacher.”

Season one of “Fear the Walking Dead” left off with Madison, Travis and their extended family taking temporary shelter in Strand’s gated estate overlooking the Pacific Ocean. As civil unrest continues to grow and the dead take over Los Angeles, Strand prepares to escape to “Abigail,” his large yacht moored offshore.

On the season two premiere episode entitled, “Monster” – written by Dave Erickson, and directed by Adam Davidson – our families flee a burning Los Angeles on Strand’s yacht, Strand remains mysterious and our group encounters danger at sea.

“Fear the Walking Dead” is executive produced by showrunner Dave Erickson, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero and David Alpert and stars Kim Dickens as Madison, Cliff Curtis as Travis, Frank Dillane as Nick, Alycia Debnam-Carey as Alicia, Ruben Blades as Daniel, Mercedes Mason as Ofelia, Lorenzo James Henrie as Chris and Colman Domingo as Strand.

Then, viewers can catch the premiere episode of the live after-show “Talking Dead: Fear the Walking Dead” hosted by Chris Hardwick with series star Cliff Curtis joined by Executive Producer Executive Producer Dave Erickson and musician Hozier at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Additionally, viewers will not want to miss a new episode of “Better Call Saul,” airing on Monday, April 11th at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. Critics continue to rave about the series, including John Walters of Newsweek.com who said, “‘Better Call Saul’ is television’s best prequel.”

In the ninth episode of the season, “Nailed” – written and directed by Peter Gould – Mike is methodical in his mission. Chuck’s capabilities are called into question. Jimmy is suddenly faced with a very personal dilemma.

From “Breaking Bad” creator Vince Gilligan and “Breaking Bad” writer Peter Gould, “Better Call Saul” focuses on the evolution of the popular “Breaking Bad” character Saul Goodman, portrayed by Bob Odenkirk, before he ever became Walter White’s lawyer. The series is executive produced by Gilligan, Gould, Mark Johnson (“Breaking Bad,” Diner, Rain Man), Melissa Bernstein (“Breaking Bad,” “Rectify,” “Halt and Catch Fire”) and Thomas Schnauz (“Breaking Bad”) Joining Odenkirk are series regulars Jonathan Banks (“Breaking Bad,” Wiseguy) as Mike Erhmantraut, Michael McKean (This is Spinal Tap) as Chuck McGill, Rhea Seehorn (“Franklin & Bash,” “House of Lies”) as Kim Wexler, Patrick Fabian (“Big Love,” “Grey’s Anatomy”) as Howard Hamlin and Michael Mando (“Orphan Black,” “The Killing”) as Nacho Varga – characters that will represent both legitimate and illegitimate sides of the law.
