Season six of the hit HBO series Game Of Thrones is set to premiere on April 24 and a long last they have finally given us hungry fans a longer glimpse into the upcoming season with an all-new full length trailer.

The series left us with quite a cliffhanger at the end of season five, as the fate of our beloved Jon Snow was left in limbo, however is it possible that we just saw a glimpse of what appears to be his funeral in the trailer?  However with Davos appearing to fight at the end of the trailer, there could possibly be a chance for resurrection yet, so we are not yet giving up hope!

It also looks like we will be seeing quite a bit of the disturbing and  incestuous Cersei and Jamie Lannister relationship, as well as, the threat of violence coming to Kings Landing as Cersei stands up to her cousin, religious zealot, Lancel Lannister.  The trailer provides glimpses into the psyche of a somewhat defeated Melisandre and a look at a now much older Bran Stark, who appears to be facing down our favorite villains, the White Walkers.  We also see what appears to be some epic upcoming battles and our Mother of Dragon’s, Dany, looking quite a bit worse for wear than we saw her last! If this trailer is any indication than we are in for a phenomenal season that is sure to keep us on the edge of our seats!

Based on the popular book series “A Song of Ice and Fire,” by George R.R. Martin, the hit Emmy-winning fantasy series chronicles an epic struggle for power in kingdom of Westeros. The cast for the fifth season included Emmy and Golden Globe winner Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Aidan Gillen, Kit Harington, Diana Rigg, Natalie Dormer, Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner. Former “Deadwood” star Ian McShane is also set to guest star in Game of Thrones season six.

David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, Carolyn Strauss, Frank Doelger and Bernadette Caulfield are the executive producers. The co-executive producers are Guymon Casady, Vince Gerardis and George R.R. Martin.
