Maz Monday Brings New ‘The Force Awakens’ Behind-the-Scenes Bonus Clip and New Emoji

One of the breakout characters from 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens, has now received her own day. Maz Katana, who was small in stature but big in personality, was a huge hit with Star Wars fans of all generations. Maz reminded Star Wars fans of a modern Yoda. Well now with Maz Monday, The Force Awakens fan-favorite character gets celebrated by having the actress who played the character, Lupita Nyong’o, share a new behind-the-scenes bonus clip from the Blu-ray and the actress also revealed a new emoji based on the character.

Lupita Nyong’o shared the new behind-the-scenes bonus clip via social media and here it is below.

As for the new Maz Katana emoji, you can download the Star Wars app that features the character’s emoji (and much more) for the Amazon Kindle, Android and the iPhone, here. Here is what the new Maz Katana emoji looks like…
