Although it does somewhat seem like what you would typically see from Tim Burton nowadays (despite not being a Disney film), I can’t deny the fact that I am still excited for this film. Maybe it’s the source material or the fact I just always want to see Tim Burton return to glory. Or Maybe its that it reminds me so much of The X-Men… Either way the trailer caught my interest. Also having Eva Green involved definitely doesn’t hurt.

Overall the film has a pretty awesome cast including Eva Green, Asa Butterfield, Ella Purnell, Allison Janney, Terence Stamp, Rupert Everett, with Judi Dench and Samuel L. Jackson. The film rights to the 2011 novel Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs were sold to 20th Century Fox on May 17, 2011. Chernin Entertainment also signed on to produce the film with producers Peter Chernin, Dylan Clark and Jenno Topping. The film is scheduled to hit theaters September 30th, 2016.
