The internet and horror world were buzzing earlier this week when Don Mancini creator of the “Child’s Play” film franchise, tweeted that he was scouting locations for what would possibly be the next “Child’s Play” installment, or as he calls it, ‘Chucky 7″. The last time we saw Charles Lee Ray–I mean Chucky–was back in 2013 and fans have been clamoring for more ever since. Here’s the tweet:

Mancini also tagged Fiona Diaz who is the real life daughter of Chucky voice actor, Brad Dourif. Fiona appeared in “Curse of Chucky” in 2013. Also tagged in the post was Jennifer Tilly who appeared in a couple of the “Child’s Play” films as well. Hopefully, we will see Alex Vincent getting involved with this project. The last time we saw Vincent, he was making a really cool cameo at the end of the last film reprising his role as Andy Barclay. Hopefully we find out more information soon!
“Curse Of Chucky” left fans with a pretty shocking conclusion that appeared to tie up most loose ends, however this is the horror realm and where there is a will there is always a way when it come to remakes.
