ORION’S The Wannabe Lets You Marry Yourself to the Mob

Based on true events and Executive Produced by Martin Scorsese and Dean Devlin, comes THE WANNABE, a story about Thomas, a man obsessed with Mafia culture during the 1990s in New York City. When Thomas’s failed attempts to fix the trial of infamous mobster John Gotti gets him rejected by the people he idolizes most, he sets off on a drug infused crime spree with his girlfriend and long time mob groupie, Rose, by brazenly robbing the local Mafia hangouts.

The film stars Academy-Award winning Actress Patricia Arquette (Boyhood) and Boardwalk Empire star Vincent Piazza as real-life couple Rose and Thomas Uva, the Bonnie and Clyde-esque duo of the 90’s. The Wannabe centers around true events that occurred during John Gotti’s trial in 1992, where Thomas and Rose were obsessed with all things mob culture and best known for robbing local Mafia hangouts.

The fantastic supporting cast includes Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos), Domenick Lombardozzi (The Wire) & David Zayas (Dexter).

The Mob Museum, located in Las Vegas, presents a bold and authentic view of organized crime’s impact on Las Vegas history, as well as its unique imprint on America and the world. The real stories and actual events of Mob history via interactive and engaging exhibits that reveal all sides of the story about the role of organized crime in the U.S.

The Wannabe Opens in Theaters & on VOD this Friday December 4, 2015.
