More fans than normal most likely tuned in for Monday night football, as Disney partnered up with ESPN to debut the highly anticipated trailer for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” during the game.
Star Wars fans have been on the edge of their seats waiting for an extending look at the upcoming J.J. Abrams helmed take on their favorite film franchise. “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is set to hit theaters on December 18th!
This film marks the first in the series since Disney purchased the film franchise from creator George Lucas. “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” stars Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford.
Since it has been released the trailer has been viewed millions of times and tickets to screenings of the film are already selling out in theaters across the country. In fact, the demand for tickets was so high ticket retailer Fandango’s website crashed several times during the purchasing process as the influx of major traffic caused their server to become overloaded.
May the force truly be with you if you are looking to get tickets to see this film on release date as many of the screenings are already completely sold-out!
