To be honest, the almost four-minute montage of behind the scenes footage incites a certain trust that J.J. Abrams has truly crafted something that that fans will love. From the look of the Star Wars: The force Awakens – Comic-Con 2015 Reel, the film seems to acknowledge and embrace it’s roots in practical filmmaking, while at the same time bringing something completely new to the table. Check it out for yourself below:

In case you have been living in a cave for the past few years, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is both a continuation of the events from the original trilogy, mixing the original cast (Mark Hamill, Carrie Fischer, Harrison Ford) with young fresh cast and storyline. Along with the original three, the film stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Gwendlyn Christie, and Domnhall Gleeson. While there aren’t many revelations from this reel as far as the plot of the film is concerned, the video does confirm certain rumored aspects about characters and the production itself. Stay tuned in as we learn more closer to the release date.
