Catching Up With Bryan Cranston For Supermansion at SDCC

(PCM) It was a super busy weekend at this year’s San Diego Comic Con so we were thrilled to catch television’s streaming network Crackle’s debut appearance at this year’s Con with Supermansion and chat with executive producer and voice actor Bryan Cranston.

“SuperMansion” follows the adventures of Titanium Rex (voiced by Cranston, who’s also the series’ executive producer) as he struggles to live with and fight alongside the Millennial-aged, often lackadaisical members of The League of Freedom. During the Comic-Con panel, Crackle revealed the series’ brand-new characters and voice cast, led by Titanium Rex and featuring Black Saturn (voiced by Gilmore), American Ranger (Keegan-Michael Key), Brad (Root), Cooch (Gardner) and Robobot/The Groaner (Wells).

When speaking with Cranston he revealed that what got him interested in the project was “it was more than just superheros and villains, but the fact that they all live under the same roof and have to deal with each other and personal space. It is like a dorm room, for example who’s not cleaning up after themselves or who has personal hygiene problems.”

He goes on to say “You have this whole world of fighting villains and such and then you have this real world that everyone can relate to in one way or another. It’s relatable in that way because audience are saying ‘hey, they are going through the same sh*t I have to deal with, and yet they are superheros!”

When asked about similarities between him and his character Cranston jokingly replies “I can fly!”

Supermansion will debut on Crackle this fall, but for now check out the teaser trailer below:
