Normally, a son can’t wait to take over the family business. However, if your name is Damien and the family business is being The Antichrist, then fitting into Daddy’s shoes might not be that easy….

This and other problems are the jumping-in point for A&E’s new Fall TV series adaptation of the horror film original, The Omen.

“Damien” follows the adult life of Damien Thorn (Bradley James), the mysterious child from the 1976 motion picture who has grown up seemingly unaware of the satanic forces around him.  Haunted by his past, Damien must now come to terms with his true destiny — that he is the Antichrist.  Barbara Hershey stars as Ann Rutledge, the world’s most powerful woman who has been tasked with making sure Damien fulfills his destiny.

Along with Scott Wilson, Omid Abatahi, Megalyn Echikunwoke, David Meunier and Executive Producer Glen Mazzara (“The Shield”, “The Walking Dead”), “Damien” promises to be faithful to the theme and tone of the original classic film.
