The Walking Dead Finale Will Include First Promo of New Companion Series

The companion series is still yet to be titled, but is set to make it’s premiere in late summer of this year.

On the season five finale of “The Walking Dead,” “Conquer” – written by Scott Gimple and Seth Hoffman, and directed by Greg Nicotero – Daryl experiences trouble on a run while Rick and his group continue to feel like outsiders in Alexandria, where trouble is creeping into the gates.

Viewers can also tune in for a new episode of the live after-show “Talking Dead” hosted by Chris Hardwick at its’ special time, 10:30pm ET/PT. We would be lying if we said we were not just a little be nervous about the fact that this week’s “Talking Dead” guest is actor Norman Reedus, who plays our beloved Daryl Dixon on the show, along with executive producer Scott Gimple.

In the past it has never been a good sign for a characters fate when the appear on an episode of “Talking Dead”, but we certainly have our fingers crossed that Daryl will end up safe and sound in season six.
