New ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Trailer

Warner Brothers has released the final trailer for the upcoming post-apocalyptic Mad Max: Fury Road.  The movie stars Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron as they race across the desert wasteland.  This trailer offers new insight on the plot, compared to the previous trailers released.  We now know Theron and Hardy are fleeing warlords after freeing their woman prisoners from said warlords.  This is the most plot driven trailer, but seems relatively unnecessary for those who’ve been sold on the picture since last years San Diego Comic Con, where the first trailer was unveiled.  This new trailer is for those still on the fence.  It gives the film a story structure showing that while most of the film will be in and on cars, there’s more to it than that.

Here’s the new trailer:

Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone.  Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa.  They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken.  Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.

Mad Max: Fury Road hits theaters May 15th and stars Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Riley KeoughZoe Kravitz, Courtney EatonRosie Huntington-WhiteleyHugh Keays-ByrneNathan Jones, and Abbey Lee Kershaw.
