Fan films are more popular than ever. The latest of these that is sweeping the fanboy community is a fan film titled Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope. The result is the Dragon Ball Z movie that is not only the type of adaptation that most fans have been salavating over for years, but something that actually works as a story. Here is the film, which was independently made as a non profit venture produced by RobotUnderdog.

The young Trunks must grow up quickly and learn from his mentor, Gohan; but with battles to fight on both the outside and inside, how long can they endure, and where will they find a light of hope?
After a successful crowd funding campaign, the film went silent while the visual effects were being completed, but the film is a true success story of a fan who just wanted to tell a Dragon Ball Z story the right way, with good production values (which are quite impressive for an independent production).
