Mission: Impossible 5 Trailer/New Title

Tom Cruise is back as Ethan Hunt in the newest entry in the Mission: Impossible franchise.  Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation is the title of the new installment,  and we also have a trailer to go along with the name.  Directed by Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher), Rogue Nation looks absolutely insane.  Based off the quick one minute trailer, it has that original DePalma M:I feel- yet has a grand and ridiculous scope.  Cruise rides the side of an airplane- I’m sold.

This is the fourth collaboration between Cruise and director Christopher McQuarrie, with Valkyrie, Jack Reacher, and Edge of Tomorrow being their first three projects together.

Here’s the first look of Mission: Impossible 5:

There’s no official synopsis yet, so here’s the brief synopsis by Paramount Pictures:

Ethan and team take on their most impossible mission yet, eradicating the Syndicate – an International rogue organization as highly skilled as they are, committed to destroying the IMF.

Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation stars Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Jeremy Renner, Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin, Simon McBurney, and Sean Harris.  The fifth Mission:Impossible was scheduled to hit theaters next winter but instead will be released July 31st, amongst a slew of sequels planned for release this summer.
