‘Trainwreck’ Official Trailer

Judd Apatow’s new film Trainwreck stars Amy Schumer, who also wrote the screenplay.  Schumer stars as Amy, a twenty-something New Yorker avoiding love at all costs.  Her ideology doesn’t sync up with the idea of monogamy. That is, until she meets Dr. Aaron Conners (Bill Hader).  Trainwreck marks the first time Judd Apatow didn’t write the screenplay for a movie he directed.  I’m sure he had notes and ideas where to take the characters, but Schumer is the only credit on the script.  She’s extremely talented and funny, so fans should be excited to see these unique comedic minds working together.  The first trailer for the movie is here.

Here’s the first official trailer, enjoy:

And the official synopsis:

Since she was a little girl, it’s been drilled into Amy’s (Schumer) head by her rascal of a dad (Colin Quinn) that monogamy isn’t realistic. Now a magazine writer, Amy lives by that credo—enjoying what she feels is an uninhibited life free from stifling, boring romantic commitment—but in actuality, she’s kind of in a rut. When she finds herself starting to fall for the subject of the new article she’s writing, a charming and successful sports doctor named Aaron Conners (Bill Hader), Amy starts to wonder if other grown-ups, including this guy who really seems to like her, might be on to something.

I’ve always liked how Apatow uses celebrities to play themselves, I just hope it doesn’t negatively affect the finished product.  I’m looking at you LaBron James.

Trainwreck opens in theaters 17th and stars Amy Schumer, Tilda Swinton, Bill Hader, Brie Larson, Colin Quinn, John Cena, LeBron James, and many others making appearances as themselves.
