For no other reason then personal curiosity I’ve been keeping a comprehensive media inventory for the last three years. As i mentioned I had no endgame in mind when I began, I just wanted to keep track of all the television and films I watch throughout any given year. So about a year ago when I began writing and reviewing movies, it made sense to keep a record of what I was watching and overall media intake (although I forgot to document the books I have read). Depending on my availability between work schedules, trips out of town, vacations, or general temperature and weather outside, the amount of content I was able to consume fluctuates throughout the year.
I kept these lists for for my own records, but since Steven Soderbergh’s Media Diary recently started making its rounds on the movie blogs I figured why not share my own? I may not be on Soderbergh’s level (yet), but I thought it would still be fun to release my own list documenting everything I saw in 2014. So without further ado I present to you Pete’s Media Diary. Hopefully this list gives you a better understanding and glimpse inside the mind of Peter Towe.

That’s it. Wow. Looking back at my year watching films, I’ve potentially seen too many. Part of my job requires me to go to the theaters in order to review the films, so that’s excusable. Watching so many movie outside of the theater, may be a problem. But, oh well. I love me some movies! What isn’t included in the list are the countless Twilight Zone episodes I watch throughout the year, or all the movies that I forgot to write down (or the shows/movies I only caught a minute here or a minute there).
