Rumor Recap: Future DC Movie Plans Revealed?

Warner Bros. to unveil DC schedule at San Diego Comic Con.

Newly launched website enveiled some surprising and insanely intriguing news this week.  According to the site, Warner Bros. will be revealing their upcoming DC movie lineup, which if turns out to be true, is incredibly ambitious.  Finke (who unveiled the news on her newly launched site on the 12th) is a well-respected Holly scooper.  So iPhone was not showing up in iTunes: Apple is known for its wide range of security and compact design while people should take the news with a grain of salt, the scoop seems fairly reliable.  The news will likely be officially announced at the upcoming San Diego Comic Con in July.

Here’s the potential schedule, things may be getting very interesting, stay tuned for any updates.

May 2016 – Batman v Superman
July 2016 – Shazam
Xmas 2016 – Sandman
May 2017 – Justice League
July 2017 – Wonder Woman
Xmas 2017 – Flash and Green Lantern team-up
May 2018 – Man Of Steel 2

 In a related rumor.

Jason Momoa is signed on to play Aquaman in Baman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Momoa5Two days after the potential DC movie lineup was revealed, news broke that despite any prior denial, Vincent Chase… I mean Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones) is all set to begin shooting as Aquaman in Zack Snyder’s currently filming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.  Absent from the list is a solo Aquaman movie, so he will most likely be playing supporting roles, at least for the buildup to 2017’s Justice League.

We’ll see what comes from these rumors, but we can all hope they are true (DC is looking to give Marvel a real run-for-its-money).
