‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Trailer #2

The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is less than two months away, and the anticipation has been well, not as enthusiastic as a studio could hope for (to say the least).  From the start, Michael Bay’s Turtle reboot has been climbing an uphill battle and is faced with almost unbeatable task to sway popular opinion surrounding the film.  Once fans saw what the turtles would look like, expectations sunk even lower.  The two previous trailers couldn’t due much to quiet the negativity, but with this new trailer, things may be looking up.

The new trailer makes the movie look much more fun than previous versions.  Hopfully the tone of the film is like this new trailer, it doesn’t need to have the same plot devices used in “superhero” movies and take itself too seriously (they’re turtles).  Look, the turtles are going to look different, and yes they look weird, but there’e nothing anyone can do.  Let’s see how the movie turns out before we bash everyone involved.

The new trailer below finality gives us a look at Splinter and a better look at the new Shredder.  We’ll see how the movie turns out, it’s going to be hard to top the nostalgia felt by people of my generation, but in the end, who really cares, we have a great 1990 version we could always go back to.  Enjoy.
