Rumors Swirl About “Jurassic World”

Over the last few weeks some major plot details about the upcoming film “Jurassic World” were leaked onto the internet, which certainly had many fans of the “Jurassic Park” film franchise in a frenzy. As it turns out, a lot of those leaked details turned out to be true, but according to SlashFilms.com they are details that filmmakers wanted to keep under wraps.

SlashFilms spoke with “Jurassic World’ director Colin Trevorrow who confirmed that yes the film does indeed take place in a fully functional park on Isla Nubar that receives over 20,000 visitors per year. It has the feel of a luxury resort, but with dinosaurs of course. Trevorrow told SlashFilms “It’s the realization of John Hammond’s dream, and I think you’ll want to go there.”

Trevorrow also revealed that the film will take place 22 years after the events from the first film and will indeed have a least one new breed of dinosaur that has been genetically engineered by the scientists at the park.

Jurassic World is set to be released on June 12th, 2015.
