‘Justice League’ Confirmed by Warner Brothers

To nobody’s surprise, Warner Brothers has officially announced that the ‘Justice League‘ movie is happening, and will be the studios next film in the series after ‘Batman vs. Superman‘.  Zach Snyder will once again be brought back to direct, which will make it his third film in the series.

The news is not surprising, since casting has been ever expanding, most recently Ray Fisher getting cast as Cyborg.  The tentatively titled ‘Batman vs. Superman‘ has a release dat of May 6, 2016, with no scheduled date yet for Justice League.  As of now, the cast includes Wonder woman (Gal Gadot), Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavil), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg), and Jason Mamoa as a yet to be titled character.

Personally, I am excited about the news, and am a fan of the way DC is taking their movie franchise.  They’re not copying what Marvel is doing, but instead doing their own thing.  Snyder did a great job setting the tone in Man of Steel, and it should be interesting to see how all the heroes and villains will be used to form their own cinematic universe.
