More Casting Rumors Revealed For Star Wars Episode VII

More and more details are coming together for the latest installment of the Star Wars film franchise, ‘Star Wars Episode VII‘ directed by J.J. Abrams.In the latest rumored casting news, it has been reported that actress Lupita Nyong’o, fresh off her best actress Oscar win for the film ‘12 Years A Slave‘, has met with Abrams to discuss a role in the upcoming film.

While it has not been officially confirmed, Nyong’o’s rumored role would be the offspring of Obi-Wan Kenobi. So, far there have a slew of additional talent has been linked to the upcoming film including Benedict Cumberbatch, Gary Oldman, Michael Fassbender, Alex Pettyfer, Saoirse Ronan, and Michael B. Jordan.

Those actors that are rumored to be playing the male lead include Jesse Plemons, Ed Speleers, John Boyega, Matthew James Thomas, and Ray Fisher, but again nothing has been officially confirmed. Production on ‘Star Wars Episode VII‘ is slated to begin this spring and the film is set to be release on December 18th, 2015.
